Our gender and organisations practice stands out for its ability to combine traditional legal advice with a strategic view of gender dynamics and diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI). We work on pay-gap analysis, anti-discrimination policies, proceedings relating to discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation, and gender equality plans certified under UNI/PdR 125:2022 - the Italian standard for gender equality certification within organisations.

We advise businesses on the governance of algorithms used in recruitment, performance evaluation and promotion: tools that are increasingly widespread in recruiting and HR management, and increasingly central to the European regulatory debate given the risk of indirect discrimination they can generate. We support companies in adapting to these new standards, turning compliance into a genuine organisational advantage. We also work on bias in performance management systems and on discrimination in career progression and variable pay schemes.
